"How much is the gym?" is the first question everyone asks — and the least useful one on its own. A cheap monthly fee you abandon after three weeks costs more than a longer plan you actually use. Here is how to compare gym fees in Noida properly.
Compare cost per month, not the sticker price
Longer plans almost always cost less per month. Divide the plan price by the number of months before you decide. At Royal Fitness Club in Sector 93, the numbers look like this:
| Plan | Price | Per month | Couple price (2 people) | Per person per month |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Monthly | ₹2,000 | ₹2,000 | ₹3,000 | ₹1,500 |
| Quarterly (3 months) | ₹5,000 | ₹1,667 | ₹7,500 | ₹1,250 |
| Half-Yearly (6 months) | ₹8,000 | ₹1,333 | ₹12,000 | ₹1,000 |
| Annual (12 months) | ₹14,000 | ₹1,167 | ₹21,000 | ₹875 |
| Royal 15 (15 months) | ₹16,000 | ₹1,067 | ₹24,000 | ₹800 |
The pattern holds at most gyms: the monthly plan is for testing, the longer plans are for results.
What should be included in the fee
Before you pay anywhere, ask what the fee actually covers:
- Full floor access — strength, free weights and cardio, not a "basic" zone.
- Trainer guidance on the floor — someone who corrects your form without an extra charge.
- Both batches — can you switch between morning and evening when your shifts change?
- Diet guidance — many gyms include it only on longer plans. At Royal Fitness Club it starts from the Quarterly plan.
- Progress check-ins — weight, measurements or strength numbers reviewed with a trainer.
Hidden costs to ask about
- Admission or registration fee on top of the plan price.
- Personal training — this is almost always quoted separately. Ask for the price per month up front.
- Freeze policy — what happens if you travel or fall sick for two weeks?
- Locker and towel charges.
Quick quiz
A ₹14,000 annual plan works out to roughly how much per month?
Is the cheapest gym a good deal?
Only if you keep going. The things that keep people training — a gym close to home, timings that fit, enough equipment at peak hours, clean washrooms and a trainer who knows your name — are worth more than a few hundred rupees a month. Read our 10-point checklist for choosing a gym in Sector 93 before you decide.
Try before you pay
The best way to judge value is a free trial session: you see the equipment at your usual time, meet the trainers and check the space. Then pick the plan you'll stick with — see all membership plans.
